I have bought two vehicles from Friars Motor Company over the past few years and have been delighted with both purchases. Roy has a wealth of knowledge about wheelchair accessible vehicles and offers an outstanding service because he understands the requirements of his customers perfectly. In addition, the after sales service offered by the company is quite superb. I have recommended Friars Motor Company to several neighbours and they are as impressed as my mother and I have been with their vehicles and the firm’s customer service .

If you want a cup of tea and a chat as regards to buying a car then Roy at Friars Motor Co is your man. A gentleman in all respects, respects you as a customer, respects your disability needs, and not pushy in anyway as regards the type of vehicle required. All vehicles shown and explained ,time and patience, no problem, trust 100%. A wide range of disability cars at respectable prices, and excellent condition. Would not hesitate to buy again. Its like buying a new car as near as damn it, because he is able to get low mileage and well maintained vehicles. Many thanks.John.

I had 4 problems. 1) A father who is now wheel chair bound, 2 ) I detest hard selling, 3) knew nothing about WAV cars, 4) had a limited budget.
I was attracted to Friars Motors by Roys soft selling style on his description videos. When I visited the garage Roy was very informative and helpful (and no hard selling), he also had a good selection of low cost, low milage vehicles to choose from.
Problems 2 to 4 dealt with.
Problem 1, Dad is still wheel chair bound but we are now able to take him out regularly which he so enjoys.

Roy could not have been more helpful. From the test drive to showing us how to work all the attachments to getting mum in and out of the car. When my husband went to collect the car Roy even picked him up from the station and had the tax ready so he could just drive off. He even emailed to check he had arrived home safely. The car is amazing and has changed my mum’s life to give her access to the outside world again. November 2016.

Have just purchased (08.08.2016) our second wheelchair adapted car from Friars Motor Company and can’t speak highly enough of Roy Harding, the owner. The garage has a nice selection of vehicles with various adaptions and, if you can’t see what you want Roy will try and get the right one for you. There is no pushy sales talk or rushing with Roy, and you don’t feel you are under any obligation. Thank you for your email. Pleased to say our trip out in the car has been good.

We’ve been out once in the car and all went well – we took my brother to a garden centre on Sunday and although I took a while to work out the belts etc I got there in the end – Peter was supervising and directing when I got stuck because the idea is that I will be the person taking my brother, and Peter’s Mother, out.

Plans to take Peter’s Mother out had to be put on hold because she was not feeling very bright. We had hoped to bring her down to Herne Bay today but last night learnt that during the day she had been very tired (and feel asleep during a meal)! We will see how Peter’s Mother is today, as to whether we try a shorter, more local trip with her.
